Tai Chi

Tai Chi classes are being held in the Ballroom in Ashbourne Town Hall from 06th January 2022 at 5.45pm-6.45pm. Tai Chi helps with your posture, relaxation, energy, mobility and balance. This course is for beginners and all abilities, everyone will be welcome.
Stuart ford has been practicing martial arts for around 25 years, including Thai-Boxing, Taekwondo, Aikido, Karate, Kung Fu, Bagua, Xingyi and Tai Chi. He holds two 2nd Degree Black Belts in mixed style martial arts and various Instructor Certifications in Internal Chinese Martial Arts. He has also founded his own mixed style system called Shui Tao (The Way of Water) in 2005.
The Internal Martial Arts of China have been his main emphasis for the past 15 years and Tai Chi is
the best known of these. It is a very special art and very transferable to other systems because it
focuses on the essence rather than the technique and it is also very transferable to life, which is most beneficial as going with the grain rather than fighting against it is the way forward!

3 Blades fencing aims to provide beginners with a sound grounding in the basics of the sport of fencing. We are a friendly club and include all ages and abilities and all three weapons.
We also aim to develop the skills of more experienced fencers, with a view to increasing the Club's successes at a competitive level.
