I am a very recently elected member of the Council (May '23).

BIT ABOUT YOURSELF IE: FAMILY, WORK, HOBBIES ETC:

Having moved to Ashbourne 20 years ago I am now retired. I have two sons and two grandchildren.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IE: SCHOOL GOVERNOR, OTHER COMMITTEE INVOLVEMENT:

Along with others I have established the Proud of Ashbourne litter-picking group which, since its beginning four years ago has widened it's remit to include many additional ways of improving the appearance of Ashbourne for both residents and visitors.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO IMPROVE THE COMMUNITY:

I don't have grandiose promises about what I can do for Ashbourne but as a new member I'm learning, am hands-on and will support/follow up and help develop ideas from residents to benefit the town.
