BIT ABOUT YOURSELF IE: FAMILY, WORK, HOBBIES ETC:

Ashbourne has been our second home since 2004 and we moved to the area permanently on Ruth's retirement in 2017. Since then I've joined Peakland Players, been a steward at Ashbourne Arts Festival and Ashbourne Beer Festival. I'm also a volunteer on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IE: SCHOOL GOVERNOR, OTHER COMMITTEE INVOLVEMENT:

Past Chair of Ashbourne Town Council's Planning Committee. Currently Chair of Community and Environment Committee. I represent the Town Council on Ashbourne Arts, Christmas Committee, and the Town Team and fighting for the Town on the Air Quality Management Plan Team. I'm also Treasurer for Ashbourne Community Cinema.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO IMPROVE THE COMMUNITY:

Ashbourne offers much to its residents and visitors. The Neighbourhood Plan and more recent opportunities provide the Town Council with being able to represent our Town to influence solutions to traffic and parking problems, services for new housing, and improving our amenities.

Although the Town Council has a limited set of responsibilities I will work with any and all to represent the needs of our town and its residents.
